Catering Contract

This Catering Contract is to help ensure that the person hiring Chef Collete catering service understand what is expected of them. This contract includes the essentials like menus and dates as well as legal necessities such as insurance requirements and health and hygiene compliance.

The catering contract is made and enter into on _____________________, by and between ____________________, _______________________, _______________________ (hereafter referred to as client), AND ___________________, _______________________, ____________________,  ______________________, _________________________________ (hereafter referred to as “caterer”),

Now therefore, inconsideration of the mutual agreement  and promise between the parties agree as follows:

1. Term

Clients and caterer agree that this contract between the parties is for catering services that shall commence on _____________________ at _________________ and catering services shall continue until________________________, at ____________________. Said contract may be extended and/or renewed by contract of all parties in writing thereafter.

2. Services Provided

3. Event Details

  • The price quoted in this contract and the amount of food prepared and any other  necessary preparation are made based on an estimate of ________________ people in attendance at the event. It is the anticipation of both parties that all food items prepared shall be adequate to satisfy _________________ people.
  • Each person plate $? (Put your amount that you think each plate of food can cost that way you will be able to know how to charge you client. For example you can say $35 or $40 per plate)

4. Menu to be Served

Caterer reserves the right to make small changes  to the menu only if  key ingredients are  unable to be sourced due to reasons beyond the control of both parties.

  • Caterer reserves the right to refuse to serve any food that has NOT been prepared by chef Colette services this is to comply with the health department and to prevent food poisoning.
  • Caterer reserve the right to refuse offering her serving dishes to clients
  • Caterers reserve the right to serve ONLY foods that is prepared by Chef Collette company
  • If client Choose to rent Chef Collette Serving dishes, the agreement and contract will not be part of the food service contract which Chef Collette is having with client. Therefore the renting of ONLY Chef Collette serving dishes will be a complete separate contract payment agreement which will be determined by Chef Collette.

5. Cancellation

  • ( When do you want client to notify you on cancelation if they want to pull out of the contract.
  • If for any reason client choose to withdraw from the contract, they need to give Chef Collete a 6 months’ notice in order to have a full refund of their deposit.
  • If for any reason client choose to withdraw from the contract 3 months before the event they will receive _________ % of the deposit.

If for any reason client choose to withdraw from the contract less than 3 months before the event they will NOT receive any refund.

6. Consideration and Payment Terms

Client will pay Chef Collete in two installments for the services that her catering company will offer.

This payment cannot be done in more than two installments. For example, if client is charge $5,000 for a service, therefore the first installment will be $2,500 and the second installment will be the completion of the second half which is $2,500

7. Default of payment

If client does not meet up with the payment conditions after Chef Collette has provided the services, she will charge client 10% of the remaining balance each day.

If client does not complete the remaining balance after five business day from the day the services were provided, Chef Collette will have the right to follow legal process to claim her money.

8. Caterer and client agreed on the set time ____________ for Chef Collette services to be over and she can leave the event ground when she feels she has provided the services which client paid for.

Any extended time after the above agree time Chef Collette will charge $5 for every one minute.
